In the spring of 2005, Rittenhouse launched the R2 Digital Library platform, a natural progression and expansion of its services provided to its customers. The R2 Digital Library is an institutional application developed by Rittenhouse for its hospital and academic library customers. This digital repository and technology infrastructure is designed to aggregate content from multiple health science publishers electronically on the desktop for libraries and hospitals to offer to their patrons.
